The corps building is also used for many activities other than those directly associated with salvation army meetings or Salvation Army sections.
Each weekday the downstairs is used extensively by Merthyr Council Social Services to provide a venue for day services for the elderly.
The downstairs and its facilities is also used after 5 pm by other groups like Active8 (Youth Club), St Johns Ambulance Brigade and Talking Hands (Signing Hands Group).
The top hall is used on Thursday night by a group of disabled users to meet chat and share a MacDonald's meal together.
If you have any queries about booking the bottom hall after 5 pm or top hall for morning or evening activities please contact the corps officers for availability and further details.
